So, when I write that YOU must read this book, I hope you will find a meaningful reason to trust me below.
IF JESUS IS YOUR LORD, and you have the opportunity to read this book then consider it a nearly direct form of loving your neighbor as yourself. Sales of the book is the least (but important) of the reasons to read it. This book exposes precisely how people just like you (our neighbors) were cruelly and perniciously targeted with a close-to -demonic level of malice throughout the so-called justice system of our nation’s capital. How can we love our neighbors as ourselves if we close our eyes and plug our ears to the purposeful affliction of their souls?
IF YOU ARE A PATRIOTIC AMERICAN you need to appreciate the vile and depraved depths of our weaponized legal system, not just against Tom and other J6ers, but many denizens of the criminal justice system.

The writing, editing, and production are high quality for a novice’s first foray into self-publishing. More importantly, the story itself is compelling and includes all the necessary attributes of a quality work of fiction, e.g., heroes, villains, supporting cast, dogged perseverance, and a faith-made-real victory—but it is all true.
It is difficult to overstate how much I think you will find that this true story of J6 survival is a riveting read. If The Mouths of the Wicked does not elicit a powerful range of fervent emotions then you are likely either speed reading through it or the kind of person who laughs while watching a horror movie on a first date.
Best book on January 6 so far, full of citations, sources and footnotes. It's been an honor to get to know Tom and Sharon, and the book they've assembled for posterity is a treasure. Surrounded by an ocean of lies from the US government, there's an unsinkable island of truth, and its name is Caldwell. More J6 patriots need to tell their story and this book provides a template that one can only hope others will emulate.
An important personal chronicle of the slide of the American Republic into darkness, but also a testament to the survival of the will in the face of relentless attack. It is Thomas Caldwell's emergence unvanquished from a years-long nightmare of tyrannical assault, and what that ultimately might say about the indomitability of an individual armed with faith, that will serve as the only hope of sounding the death knell for this current crop of despots on the American landscape.
This book is the clarion call to all who wish to save America from becoming a lawless, inhumane, dangerous totalitarian state. If an innocent patriot such as Thomas Caldwell, who committed no crime, can be falsely charged, have his home raided and his wife's life threatened, be physically & mentally tortured for 53 days in pre-trial detention, be lied about by corrupt prosecutors, be denied the right to defend himself due to the hiding of exculpatory evidence by the Deep State, be denied the right to trial by a jury of his peers (instead of a politically partisan jury), be bankrupted, plus be persecuted by a society brainwashed against him, then no American is safe. Mr. Caldwell's cogent writing kept me highly engaged in his story that is painful to read. He managed to insert humor with metaphors of the warped evil trying to destroy him, and he stirred joy within me as he described his triumph at the end.
Made my blood boil as I read what the sociopathic guards and lead lawyers did to Mr. Caldwell. The physical abuse was horrific. My husband would not have survived the 53 day/night lockup in a penetratingly cold cell without his meds or even a decent blanket. And the filth! No he would not survive, nor would I. It’s a must-read. We have to aid the J6 people - this was a purposeful action by our own government to take down Trump and anyone who supports him. Even on that fateful day.
